Think of a glove liner like a high-performance sock for your hands. Just like you wouldn’t wear heavy boots without socks, you shouldn't wear heavy outer gloves or tight disposables without a base layer. Our liners provide a soft, breathable barrier that moves moisture away from your skin, prevents painful chafing, and shields your skin from friction and/or 'outer glove' scratchy seams—all while maintaining your dexterity. Depending on the composition of the yarn used to make glove liners---just like socks---they can provide added warmth when worn inside another, outer glove.

Not directly over open or weeping skin. Our cotton liners are crafted to be a soft, irritant-free layer for sensitive and dry skin, but they feature a stretchy, snug fit. If you are experiencing a severe eczema flare-up where the skin is cracked open, oozing, or bleeding, direct contact with a snug glove can be painful and interfere with healing.

However, they can absolutely be worn over protective medical bandages or gauze to help keep them securely in place. Otherwise, they are best utilized as a protective barrier directly on the skin after open areas have closed, or for managing chronic dryness and locking in moisturizers on intact skin.

These versatile sleeves are designed to protect skin from abrasions, shield against minor irritants, or act as a soft barrier under athletic gear (like shin guards). With this in mind, they are designed to be worn around one's forearm or calf. The sleeve may be positioned to partially cover one's wrist or heel while on the forearm or calf as a means of protection from the edge of a protective guard. They are sold in a convenient 4-pack, which gives you 4 individual sleeves to use and rotate through the wash.

It all comes down to insulation and moisture management. Cotton fibers naturally absorb moisture like a sponge. As a result, those fibers collapse when they get wet, losing the tiny air pockets needed to trap body heat. If your hands sweat inside a cotton glove, that moisture becomes trapped directly against your skin leaving your hands feeling cold---like the cold outdoors.

Conversely, wool and polyester pull moisture away from your skin while maintaining their physical yarn structure to trap body heat, keeping your hands dry and warm. The moisture is drawn away from your skin allowing it to safely evaporate into the airspace between your glove liner and the inside surface of your outer glove—or directly into the great outdoors if the liners are worn on their own.

We primarily ship domestic orders less than a pound in weight via USPS Ground Advantage. Flat rate shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number (and Carrier info) so you can follow its progress.

For domestic orders weighing one pound or more, calculated shipping cost prices are listed based on your delivery location by carrier at checkout. You, the customer, chooses which carrier to deliver your order.

Yes, but with limitations. Currently, our standard international shipping is open to Canada only. While we would love to serve customers worldwide, navigating the complex web of global customs regulations, international tax compliance (like VAT), and high carrier fees makes universal shipping difficult for our small team right now.

That said, if you live outside the US or Canada and are interested in our products, please contact us directly! We are happy to look into a custom shipping quote and verify eligibility for your specific country.

The customer is entirely responsible for any customs delays, import duties, associated charges, or taxes applied by your destination country once the shipment arrives. Occupational Textiles Solutions LLC does not cover or manage these fees.

Per our Terms & Conditions, the risk of loss passes to the customer once we hand the package over to the shipping carrier. If your tracking information shows your package was delivered but you cannot locate it, please contact the carrier directly to open a claim.
